Born in 1986, Henrik Aarrestad Uldalen is a self-taught artist who's primary focus is classic figurative paintings presented in a contemporary manner. His dark works explore nihilism, existentialism, longing and loneliness but he is never forgetful of life's fragile beauty. His works are presented in a dream like state with elements of surrealism. Henrik invites the viewer to dive into his pieces, much like his subjects, allowing for us to create our own narrative as we explore.
