"This work is about being alone in the world and alone in my body," says sculptor and video artist Charlie Roberts. "What I have is time inside my skin; the passive digital lens records this time alone - alone in wonder." Roberts' short videos embrace the humor, awkwardness, and melancholy of the isolated man in his most basic state, revealing the child-like vulnerability inherent in us all.
