Doris Kloster is a world-recognized artist and curator whose unique vision has found expression in art books of her own conception, international art exhibitions, installations and films. Her portraits of nude women allow her to focus on confronting female stereotypes. Femme Fatale, vamp, bimbo, bitch goddess, Lolita, whore -- what power do these words hold over women's self image? These women own their sexual power and are not afraid to show it. Some of the women pictured here are professional actors, others are models, still others are performance artists. Kloster has a B.A. in Art History, from Boston University and an M.A. in Fine Arts from New York University.
