Dutch artist Imme van der Haak is behind the project, Beyond the Body, where "photos of the human body are printed onto translucent silk which will create the possibility of physically layering different body’s, ages, generations and identities." The results are a bit jarring, intriguing, especially in the video, where the dancing actors with the silk over their bodies confuses your perception of identity and, in our most honest assesment, the age of the performer. As van der Haak notes, "The movement then brings this to life. Beyond the body brings into being an ambiguous image that intrigues, astonishes or sometimes even disturbs."(via)
