We have been waiting to see if this was going to get confirmed, and today, via Kid Cudi's Twitter and Takashi Murakami's IG, it looks like the Japanese superstar artist did in fact design the album cover for the Kanye West x Cudi project, Kids See Ghosts. You may remember that Murakami designed the character and album cover for Kanye West's 2007 album, Graduation, so this doesn't come as a huge surprise that West would enlist Murakami for another release. Based on the last few weeks of West releases, his Pusha-T produced Daytona and own LP ye, Kids See Ghosts may be released this Friday, June 8th.

Takashi is set to open his traveling retrospective, The Octopus Eats Its Own Leg, at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth on June 10, 2018. If you remember, Murakami has been showing a painting of the Graduation cover in both the shows stops in Chicago and Vancouver
