"February Song" is the latest music video from the Parisian post-punk trio Gomme off of their new EP Absent Healing, coming out this month on record labels Digital Regress (US), Adagio830 (DE), and Et Mon Cul C'est Du Tofu records (FR.) The video was filmed in Iceland, Vienna, and Paris, and features interactive clothing pieces designed by Finnish designer Iris Korkman, as well as members of the Parisian performance art group SUZANNE. The concept is inspired by performance and conceptual artists Erwin Wurm, Franz Erhard Walther, and Yoko Ono, focusing on form and movement to illustrate ideas in the song about perception and relativity. The performers utilized different clothing pieces, objects, sculptures, or sometimes simply a word, and were prompted to interact or express through them however they wanted. The goal was to give the performers ultimate freedom and, as a result, they created a visual collage expressing a wide range of human perception and personality.
