Painter Max Kauffman opens a duo show with sculptor Marcelo Macedo that opened Friday, November 14 at Low Gallery in San Diego. The duo show is called Innate Practices, and Max described his latest work to us, “I call the series Blood Meridian based on the book by Cormac McCarthy. I love how his writing goes off on these huge tangents of descriptive language of the landscape around, it just creates fully realized imagery in my head.”
