Follow a haunting narrative in Marci Washington's newest zine, Sleeping Spell. In her Juxtapoz feature a few years back, Marci explained that she likes making zines so her paintings can live all together, existing beyond an exhibit. Illustrating what she's called "a novel that doesnt exist," and expanding on a recent solo show, Sleeping Spell has images of paintings accompanied by mysterious text that "tells the tale of a castle under a dark enchantment."
