To be 32 years-old and about to have your first solo museum show, at the Whitney Museum in NYC no less, is a major deal. We are so excited to have Toyin Ojih Odutola on the cover of our November 2017 issue, as she has been one of our favorite artists of recent years and wanted to celebrate her museum show, To Wander Determined, in proper fashion. Coinciding with her interview, we feature 3 new paintings of her work that will be on view at the Whitney starting on October 20, 2017.

Also in the November 2017:

—We sit down with Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails to discuss a life of art within his music
Christian Rex van Minnen exposes his inner-self and a stunning series of new works
Matthew Palladino gives us a review of his reliefs
Saner goes beyond the mask
Adam Neate takes us deep into his Dimensionalism
—Axel Void opens up about his personal works and life-affirming murals
—We visit and review two great street art festivals at opposite ends of the world: Nuart in Stavanger, Norway and The Unexpected in Fort Smith, Arkansas
—We preview and review the comprehensive Walker Evans exhibition at SFMoMA
