November 04, 2013

This month, Juxtapoz announced a special capsule collection of prints we curated on Art.com, featuring works from artists in the Juxtapoz community, including Mario Wagner, Kelly Tunstall, Kenji Hirata, and Ferris Plock. Also, our collection of Buenos Aires, Argentina based artist Trystan Bates....

Trystan Bates believes that, “Everyone, regardless of location, education, or belief system, is able to view and interpret art. It’s truly a universal language with an amplified circle of impact.” In his own work, he comments on the human experience: our origins, and the interconnectivity between us all. A graduate of Parsons School of Design in New York City, Trystan began his career curating exhibitions for prestigious New York design museums. Today, he is based in Buenos Aires, where he founded the contemporary art collective HONEYCOMB and continues to produce work for exhibitions throughout Latin America, Europe, and the United States.
