Happy Halloween! Every year we see more and more incredible pumpkin carvings. This year we are especially impressed by Jon Neill, a Southern California-based illustrator, sculptor and LCAD faculty member who has sculpted hundreds of head likenesses for museums exhibits, feature films and action figures, as well as animals for museum exhibits, including the traveling exhibits Tiniest Giants and Dogs: Wolf, Myth, Hero & Friend. Jon’s work can be seen in more than 50 movies and television shows, his most recent work includes The Hunger Games, Looper, Anchorman 2, Paranoia, Spiderman, Green Hornet, The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, Priest and A Nightmare on Elm Street (2010). His career in movies began with Michael Jackson’s Ghosts, The Lost World: Jurassic Park and T2-3D the ride for Universal Studios.
