There have been so many projects that just took off right before the global pandemic changed our entire schedules and daily lives. Today, we wanted to look at Argentinian-born, Berlin-based installation and mural aritst, Marina Zumi's latest light installation. The entire project, done for Upeart Fest in HammenLinna, Finland.
Swim Dreams is an expansion on some of the beautiful and serene light installation Zumi has been working on in recent years. "Holy the supernatural extra brilliant intelligent kindness if the soul," a line from Ginsberg's "Howl," plays at the center of Zumi's work here, which although seems like a surprising pairing with such an installation, the meditative aspect of the entire experience seems to enrich the connection.
