In recent years, KAWS has been focusing on a series massive public artworks, from China to Los Angeles, Yorkshire Sculpture Park (for which we did a cover story) to Qatar. And now, he gets to have a little fun with his recent sculpture work, KAWS:HOLIDAY, unveiled today in Seoul, Korea. More precisely, it will be floating on/in Seoul's Seokchon Lake. The nearly 92-foot art installation, done collaboration with LOTTE and AllRightsReserved, will float until August 19, 2018.

In conjunction with the floating sculpture, KAWS released a KAWS:HOLIDAY replica bath toy, a floating bed, T-shirts, umbrella, and towel. We want the bath toy. Please.

This sems to the summer of floating sculptures, as Christo has a massive work currently in a lake in London.
