This weekend, Juxtapoz Magazine celebrates 25 years with a huge Summer Issue Release Party at Superchief Gallery in Miami. In collaboration with Superchief's 7th Anniversary Mega Group Show, the event features artists Francesco Lo Castro in collaboration with ARTECHOUSE, Caratoes, Alex Yanes, Aholsniffsglue, Hoxxoh, Atomik, Baghead, Raul Santos & Brian Butler. To top it off, there will also be immersive large-scale installations and two 10,000 sqft murals.

Today we're taking a look behind the scenes, as street artist Caratoes expands on her 2018 immersive installation for the space. Utilizing her signature bold black lines and sinuous forms, the artist creates a fully formed arena that stops time and forces the viewer to reckon with the present. Titled BLOOM, the piece comprises multiple tactile elements including strobe lights and fog.

Take a look at the video and photos above as Caratoes works to transform Superchief, and if you're in Miami this Saturday, June 22nd, be sure to come to the 25th Anniversary Summer Issue Release Party. Details below!
