Back when we first reported it in 2013, Florentijn Hofman had created the world's largest rubber ducks to be floated in Hong Kong's Victoria harbor. Well, thanks to AllRightsReserved, they are back, as a pair of giant rubber ducks were spotted unexpectedly in Hong Kong this morning, swimming back and forth in the waters near Tsing Yi. 

UPDATE: ARR is presenting the "DOUBLE DUCKS by Florentijn Hofman” project as part of the celebration, a large-scale public art exhibition at Victoria Harbour that will be open to the public starting from June 10, 2023 for about 2 weeks, subject to weather conditions. The duo will be stationed near Tamar Park and the Central and Western District Promenade (Central Section), making this decade-awaited project beyond happiness. The “DOUBLE DUCKS” is made possible by supporting organization Hong Kong Tourism Board and lead sponsor Prudential, as well as other sponsors including csl., Ngong Ping 360, VSFG, ZA Bank, and supporting partner MTR Corporation.

To commemorate the 10th anniversary of Rubber Duck’s visit to Hong Kong, AllRightsReserved has specially launched a series of exclusive collectibles featuring the classic duck icon. Since 2007, the Dutch artist Florentijn Hofmant has taken his monumental Rubber Duck on a world tour and visited Hong Kong in 2013, The project was urated by AllRightsReserved, and now on the 10th anniversary of its first visit, ARR has invited the Rubber Duck to make its comeback to Hong Kong, accompanied by a new version of the duck. The duo will make their debut in a large-scale public art exhibition “DOUBLE DUCKS by Florentijn Hofman.”
