DECALCIFIED showcases the work of seven artists who keep their third eyes wide open through the use of Psychedelic artmaking. Focusing on supernatural graphic works, the roster curated by Superchief Gallery LA’s Bill Dunleavy welcomes familiar faces and introduces some new talent. Yu Maeda meticulously renders monsters inspirited by Japanese mythology and American Low Brow art, while M.K. Komins's hyperreal portraits brandish vibrant women in translucent environments.

Svetlana Shigroff weaves mixed-media tapestries, enveloping myth and psychedelia while Mat Brown composes surreal, comic-like collages of our ancient ancestors, from cephalopods and dinosaurs to the more contemporary Homo Erectus. Meanwhile, Keya Tama's minimalist mark-making reinvigorates the past but keeps pace with modern aesthetics.
