Rural America illustrations by Taylor Mazer

April 28, 2017

Taylor Mazer is a Michigan-based illustrator, who specializes in drawing abandoned buildings, alleys, and structures you might find in rural America.

His style is similar to Evan Hecox but it’s much small in size. But what’s amazing about Mazer’s work is that he puts so much detail in his tiny drawings. All his small pieces are created using fine-tipped Micron pens, straight-edge ruler, and mechanical pencils. Some of his drawings are even smaller than the Micron pens he uses and his latest drawings in ink are documented in his limited edition book More Work.
