'I arrived at this place of internal exploration out of necessity. Leaning on the metaphysical landscape as a form of escapism, I was seeking an ideal, both in my work and my personal life. I set out to research, write and then inevitably create, on the topics of determinism, synchronicity, the fundamental nature of existence and their connection to the creative landscape.

Struggling to understand basic beingness, I spent a solid 2 years engaged in this study, and the past year emerging from it. I committed myself to solitary exploration, meditation, cognitive therapy and metaphysical readings in attempts to learn from what I like to call E.P.S.T (existence, possibility, space and time). 'Internal Energy' acts as a closure of sorts, with a very heavy and reflective release.

I don't want this to come across all New Agey like I'm some born-again, contemporary adult in draping linens, because in all seriousness it was fueled by that same 'internal energy' that was all hopped up on rap music and caffeine in doing so. I'm really just emphatically driven by curiosity and I don't want anything more than to go pick up a bottle and stare at the stars with you... I've never even been to Burning Man.'
