"My current artworks are the result of a "distillation" process from the traditional oil painting to the black and white graphic. The tattooed looking components are very important parts of my drawings because they continuously open up new interpretations of the image. It is possible to view them on macro and micro levels at the same time. This gives a special dynamic visual pleasure what I call "Christmas to my eyes". Each work has its own gravitational field which irresistibly forces us to zoom in, explore more, discover new aspects within the whole." —Benze
