Dio Horia contemporary art platform from Greece will be opening a solo exhibition of Serbian artist, Aleksandar Todorovic, at their gallery space in Mykonos. Titled Buy it All, Eat It All, the show is focused on exposing the hyper consuming era we're living in and twisted values set in our society.

In his works Todorovic creates complex narratives full of recognizable symbols, characters and popular culture elements. Partly warning and partly parodying the Western, modern life, these dystopian images highlight problematic conditions of current times through satiric compositions. Often using formats and general aesthetic of the Christian Orthodox or Byzantine iconography, he is comparing these icons of consumerist society with saints and historic figures.

The exhbitiion will be on view from August 25—September 20, 2017
