If you were lucky enough last night to catch Nathaniel Russell's IG live session with Juxtapoz in support of If You Were Here Now, you got an amazing and meditative experience from the artist's Indianapolis studio. Russell combined many of his loves: illustration, music, freestyling communication with the viewer and a bit of humor and personal philosophy.
That short session also has a longer tutorial that the great people of If You Were Here Now have put together. Part of why we wanted to work with this group is based on the practice of sharing ideas. It slows down the uncertain moment we are living in, just a quick 15 minutes or so of inspiration that can live on forever. Please enjoy Nathaniel's session, and maybe draw a dog or 12.
