In response to COVID-19, Amplifier has launched an urgent campaign with top art curators and public health advisors from around the world. Through an open call, the aim is to give artists the opportunity to use their skills to inspire the global community to stay strong, stay safe, and stay united in work that will be distributed around the world.

They are looking for two kinds of work: The first would address public health and safety messages aimed at flattening the curve with proven safety practices. The second calls for design of symbols that help bolster mental health, well-being, and social change during these stressful times. As part of the campaign Amplifier will award $1,000 to 50 artists, with 5 winning works announced each week, starting the first week of April. A rotating list of curators include Nancy Spector, an Art Director and Chief Curator at the Guggenheim, artists Hank Willis Thomas, Shepard Fairey, public health experts, and other stewards of global peace.
