Henrique Olivei's Largest Installation Yet

June 04, 2014

Brazilian artist Henrique Oliveira is occupying the expansive Museum of Contemporary Art, University of São Paulo with his largest installation to date with Transarquitetônica. This beautiful immersive exhibit used recycled materials from Oliveira’s home city. Visitors get to enter a massive series of snaking wooden columns that wrap through the interior space. Oliveira has created various routes with multiple possibilities, this piece is of epic proportions. It begins as roots of a tree and ends as a slender corridor, symbolizing evolutionary architecture.
