April 2019 is the beginning of a two-month celebration at downtown Los Angeles’ Corey Helford Gallery, consisting of two massive group exhibitions, the first being The Fine Art of Street and Graffiti, featuring world-renowned muralists D*Face, Ron English, Hush, RISK, EINE, Okuda San Miguel, Herakut, and many more. The exhibition is curated by owner Jan Corey Helford, CHG Co-Curator Caro and world-famous street and graffiti artist RISK. Corey Helford was among the early galleries in Los Angeles to bring these artists together for exhibitions that established the stature of this art form and its place in the fine art scene. Following in the paths of Haring, Basquiat and others, these self-styled vandals brought the streets of the world a voice that expresses the jarring beauty and incongruity of art and life in the urban setting. Corey Helford is proud to present new works by these artists and other upcoming artists from around the world.

The Fine Art of Street and Graffiti will feature new works by: Ahoy, Aspire, Barlo, Bates, Beau Stanton, Bio Tats Cru, Bisco Smith, Buff Monster, CES, Candybird, Caratoes, Cryptik, D*FACE, Defer, EINE, Estevan Oriol, Faith XLVII, HOXXOH, HUSH, Herakut, Jecks, Jillian Evelyn, Kano, Kwest, La Belle Epoque, Lauren YS, Logan Hicks, Mauy, Messy Desk, Miss Van, OG Abel, Okuda San Miguel, Pure Evil, Quick, RISK, Ramiro Davaro-Comas, Ron English, SEEN, seenaeme, Sel, Senna, Sever, Simple Bao, Skeme, Starman, Taz, Vyal and Zlism.

The second part of the Lucky 13 Anniversary celebration will be an exhibition of the best in Pop Surreal and New Figurative, with more info and an amazing lineup to be announced next month.
