Wes Anderson's New Stop-Motion Eye Candy Film "Isle of Dogs" Has a New Clip

February 16, 2018

We are nerds. We are excited about the new Wes Anderson film, "Isle of Dogs," a stop-motion feature that has all the characteristics of an Anderson film (loading cast, clever cinematography, probably two Nico songs, a Bill Murray cameo, F Murray Abraham being sort of a sage and one tear-inducing moment). The film will be out on March 23, and there was a new clip posted that we wanted to share. The film premiered at the Berlin Film Festival recently, with Anderson cited influences from everyone from Kurosawa and Studio Ghibli creator Hayao Miyazaki. Which, you know, seems appropriate.

We noted last week that the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna will be hosting an exhibiting curated and created by Wes Anderson and the novelist and designer Juman Malou, which will run from September 11, 2018 to January 20 2019. Trips to Vienna anymoe?
