Our friends at DC Shoes are busy with kicking off the new year with the launch of their new footwear model, the Manual. Coinciding with the release, DC has partnered with more than 40 artists from around the world in support of Oakland, California's not-for-profit arts organization, Art Works for Change.

Each artist was asked to draw inspiration from an issue close to their heart, and create an original work of art using DC's Manual shoe as the canvas. The entire effort raises awareness for and drives conversations around critical social issues. Artworks are displayed alongside a description, and each artist will drive awareness for their chosen issue on social media. DC is promoting the show to their hefty social audience above 14 million to promote the show and all artworks are auctioned online with the proceeds going to the Art Works for Change charity.

The Manual For Change  auction runs through February 10th at 6pm PST and is open to bidders from USA, Canada, Australia and the United Kingdom. Head to dcshoes.com/blog/culture to learn more and bid on these one-of-a-kind originals, and see more here: https://www.32auctions.com/manualforchange
