Steve Walker

February 28, 2012
Canadian painter Steve Walker died earlier this year at age 51, but his poignant portraits of gay couples live on as a reminder of the artist's dedication to his personal vision of life love, and art. Walker saw his work as "a documentation, an interpretation, a crystallization of singular moments rendered in line, color, light, shadow... (striving) to make people stop, if only a moment, think, and actually feel something."
