A couple of years ago designer Ben Pawle created a simple design for the project “Preserving Human Dignity”. He successfully did just that, with a simple, awkward life moment that was made easier by a change in package design. As the phrase goes, “it’s the little things in life that make all the difference.” From the artist, “The project evolved from a healthcare project concerning Hemiplegia, a stroke of the womb with debilitating mental and physical effects, with particular focus on how indignity manifests itself when performing simple daily tasks; working to reduce or prevent these moments from occurring by providing an inclusively designed intervention.”

Amazingly, the project was selected to be exhibited at the Victoria & Albert Museum for the London Design Festival in September 2012.
