We are saddened to here today that the designer behind the very famous "Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas" sign, Betty Whitehead Willis, has passed away at the age of 91. According to CNN, she grew up 50 miles outside of Vegas, attended art school in Pasadena, California and then moved back to Vegas where she created one of America's most famous signs. We can probably credit her indirectly for "Swingers" while we're at it.
