Next week, Vans' Custom Culture submission period ends for the 900 high schools that have registered to be a part of the art education-supporting contest for this year. On April 20, Vans opens up online public voting here vans.com/customculture to select the five finalist schools that will win the chance to travel to Los Angeles for the final showcase and a possible $50,000 for their art programs—plus $5,000 from Journeys for the entry having the best "Local Flavor" and representing the culture of their region.




To help inspire and guide young artistic minds of New Orleans, Dennis McNett and a group of his artist friends assisted students in creating the "Wolfbat Railway" in mid-March as part of the Vans Custom Culture project. Watch it here.
