Subliminal Projects is "Overgrown" By Ted Feighan's Latest
Shepard Fairey's LA gallery space Subliminal Projects presents Overgrown, a pop-up art installation featuring new works by Ted Feighan and a performance by his musical project Monster Rally, in conjunction with the Echo Park Rising music festival.
Primarily based on found paper collage, Feighan’s visual work explores vintage, tropical-inspired themes, while his exotica-inspired, sampled-based music project, Monster Rally, compliments his aesthetic. These two mediums together serve as a portal into a classic paradisiacal environment, simultaneously familiar and completely new.
As curator of Monster Rally, Feighan has released seven full-length albums since 2010, with his latest, Adventures on the Floating Island, releasing via Gold Robot Records on September 20th. Feighan is also the founder and creative director of Valley Cruise Press, an art and design-centric lifestyle brand that will take over the Subliminal store for a one-week pop-up, featuring art-focused accessories, apparel, and home goods.

Ted Feighan's Overgrown opens on August 17th and is on view through August 24th.
