March 14, 2018

Legendary Italian artist, BLU, one of the most famed, elusive and renegade muralists who returned the art form to its social conscious and political roots, has once again has teamed up with Zooo Print and Press to celebrate the first 15 years of his mural activity. This new book, Minima Muralia, publishes the complete collection of every mural BLU has painted.

Covering walls through countless countries and cities, this essential BLU publication is filled with the most known masterpieces, backstage shots and unreleased works from the artist’s archives. With some of the works being recently buffed by the artist himself in efforts to stop investors and institutions from "preserving" and displaying his public work, the book is a historic document showing more than 200 walls painted on 288 full color pages.

The special edition that comes in a slip on sleeve includes a zine with sketches and studies for large pieces, along with 2 big posters of evolution themed piece in Rome from 2015, and his massive Ancient Rome-like critique of modern society from 2012. —Sasha Bogojev
