Chidem Michalski is an illustrator and designer currently based in San Francisco. For the past decade she's worked as one half of the creative duo running Istanbul's premire motion design studio "Imago." These days she's more focused on illustration, arts and textiles, but still does art direction for motion pieces. Her unique style is inspired in equal parts by nature, urban culture and folk art. To create her pieces she uses a mixture of traditional and digital media, techniques that have been around for thousands of years mixed with the latest developments of the digital era. She also keeps a blog where she posts an illustration a day. Simple challenge, but awesome!
