Don't worry, we are not going to start covering the photoshoots involving George Clooney now on the site, but if they involve the great mind of Yayoi Kusama, and Clooney is releasing a film dedicated to art in "The Monuments Men," we will do it this time. W Magazine just ran a cover story on Mr. Clooney, presumably to chat all things "Monuments," and they smartly had Yayoi art directed the shoot with her signature polka dot patterns, while being capture by photographer Emma Summerton.

Allison Miller, painter and professor at UC San Diego, recently showed me a film about Yayoi Kusama, following her around her studio and attempting to get a glimpse into her odd world and unusual artistic practice. Kusama has been producing work for over 50 years and all of it is very strange and very beautiful.
