We beleive when Xuan Alyfe paints small scaled murals his work is more impactful than if it was large. Maybe that’s because his work looks more detailed when scaled down? The red circle that continues off the wall onto the floor is doing something interesting here.

Over the last few years, we have witnessed Xuan Alyfe’s slow, but natural progression from very small-scale murals to large, and no matter the size, the Spanish artist’s work consistently incorporates precise and meticulous detail. In this newest piece, the artist has stuck with a distinct color palette, working with geometric abstractions and other surreal imagery.

Xuan Alyfe recently completed this wall in Avilés, which is located in the Northern region of Spain on what looks to be the side of someone’s home. This new piece contains plenty of fine detail, stimulating design, and Arabic style lettering on the small garage door.

We have always known Xuan Alyfe’s work to be extra small in scale, really tiny murals with lots of details and a bunch of trippy elements. So we were surprised when we saw he painted a large mural for the Poliniza Festival in Valencia, Spain, but certainly no disappointed. All the wonderful little nuances of his work are embedded in this new mural; it’s just been super sized.
