Featured in our February 2014 issue, we love to see Olek back in San Francisco, with the installation "I Haven't A Single Explorer On My Planet" at the White Walls Project Space. As with much of Olek's work, there are political undertones and messages to be discovered...

Last days to see Greg Gossel's newest exhibition at White Walls in San Francisco:  Head Over Heels, the latest solo show by MN-based artist Greg Gossel, featuring 12 new large scale works on canvas... each piece is built up with collage, and then layered with hundreds of hand-pulled screen prints directly onto the canvas: a new direction for Gossel’s previous approach to actually tearing posters & billboards off the street as he has done in the past.

Opening: Mike Shine's "Flotsam's Harvest" @ White Walls, SF

Juxtapoz // Monday, March 18, 2013
This past weekend in San Francisco, March 2013 cover artist (and often Juxtapoz @ Outside Lands collaborator) Mike Shine opened a performance/installation/exhibition at White Walls Gallery, Flotsam's Harvest. With full musical and dance accompaniment, surrounded by a massive body of work that describes and alludes to the great riddle and poem of one Dr Flotsam, the show was fully appreciated with some of Flotsam's hell brew. Or Jameson. Not sure.

The 5,000 square foot creative space played host to an amazing group show by local artists Charmaine Olivia and Chad Hasegawa, as well as an installation a few paintings from a Juxtapoz favorite, Sickboy.

"Garden Party," SF-based artist Casey Gray's newest show at White Walls Gallery feels a bit like what the 17th Century painting gallery of The Louvre might look like on acid. We've got a review and the pictures to prove it. . .

Dominant Species is his latest body of work created directly after his road trip from the East to the West of America.
