This is a show we have been looking forward to all summer, as we just recently worked iwth West on a feature article in our upcoming November 2015 issue. The new work is a beautiful series of abstract paintings and sculptures, but you can see the lineage of West's graffiti past in each piece.

Freedom Suite opens tonight, September 30th at Environment Gallery in Los Angeles. This show will feature new work and a public mural by renowned graffiti artist turned Abstract Expressionist, West One. In the artist’s own words, “We live in a vast city where everything’s at right angles.” “My work is movement and energy. It’s organic. The viewer will see different things – maybe themselves, maybe the city. Maybe the broader environment. I hope to make us look at our space, our environment, a little differently.”
