Director Pol Penas just sent us this video he did with Spanish artist SUSO33, "Traffickers," that was produced by Montana Colors. The video creates an almost militant atmosphere, like a "Bourne Identity" scene. Which means it is entertaining.

SUHA: A Short Film

We saw this short film, SUHA, on Bates' blog, and the film follows a female graffiti artist in Montreal, Canada, and it becomes a self-narration of her life in various sub-cultures. Director Robby Reis is currently working on a full-length.

Tara McPherson turns the camera on for the opening night of her new store and gallery in Brooklyn, Cotton Candy Machine, as they presented Tiny Trifecta, a gathering of 100 of Tara's artists to help her ring in the new shop, meaning 100 pieces of tiny art all priced at $100.

This is a few years old now, and we have posted about the artist back in 2007 (!), but Theo Jansen's Strandbeest mobile skeleton sculpture, that relies on wind power to move, is still a vastly interesting project. Jansen remarks, "I make skeletons that able to walk on wind so they don't have to eat."
