Vhils for Nuart 2011 Video

Juxtapoz // Tuesday, January 03, 2012
When we were in Stavanger, Norway for Nuart 2011, one of the most impressive artists that we met was Vhils, the Portuguese fine artist who created this incredible indoor installation of duel skulls. In a decaying, beautilful old brewery, Vhils and crew carved out this piece right out of the wall. And, there were some great street pieces as well...

Juxtapoz // Thursday, December 29, 2011
There was mixed reviews of the movie Drive in our office (lots of people loved it, others were a bit down on it), but we really enjoyed seeing this animated tribute to the Ryan Gosling-starring feature film by the duo of Tom Haugomat and Bruno Mangyoku. As we get to the close of 2011, nice to look back on some of the films that got people talking.

Juxtapoz // Wednesday, December 28, 2011
One of our favorite interviews from this past year was our conversation with Harmony Korine, featured in our July issue in conjunction with his work on the yet-to-be-seen Rebel project. Korine teamed up with fashion line Proenza Schouler twice over the past two years on short films, the latter being Snowballs that premiered at Paris Fashion Week in late September.
