Blur is Back! (And they have a video for a song called "Go Out")

Hey everyone one! Blur is back. That may be big news for some, in our office we are pretty sure one member of the staff was quite happy. Blur's members were busy for the past 12 years, Damon Albarn doing all sorts of projects, one being the highly successful Gorillaz. The last time we saw Blur, they had a Banksy-designed LP called Think Tank. On April 12, 2015, they will release The Magic Whip, and have a lyric-video for the song "Go Out."

O'Brien's work merges elements of graphic design, borrowed imager, and painstakingly detailed lines, blending together a "dissonant collage, to for a distinct visual language"

Joyce Pensato "Castaway" @ Petzel Gallery, NY

Joyce Pensato, who was featured in our October 2014 issue, will be opening a new exhibition "Castaway" at Petzel Gallery in NY this Thursday, February 19th. For this exhibition, Pensato will present a new series of paintings and drawings, as well as premiere digital c-prints of her studio taken by the artist and predominantly comprised of collages on her studio walls.

India's largest Mural: Dadasaheb Phalke

In December 2014, as part of the st+art Mumbai festival, Bombay based artist Ranjit Dahiya (Bollywood Art Project) painted a tribute to the father of Indian cinema - Dadasaheb Phalke along with artists Yantr, Munir Bukhari and Nilesh Kharade. At 120 x 150 foot, it is the largest mural in the country.

Sergei Polunin, "Take Me to Church" by Hozier, Directed by David LaChapelle

Hozier’s song "Take Me to Church" featuring the renowned British Royal Ballet dancer, Sergei Polunin. A principal dancer with The Stanislavsky Music Theatre, The Novosibirsk State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre in Russia, the 25-year old Polunin is incredibly gifted and captivating to watch. The dancer appears to defy gravity at times as he leaps and spins in what looks to be an abandoned church with natural light radiating in.
