We're excited to announce the online premiere of Cheech Marin: De Colores De Cheech, directed by Gregg Gibbs. The charismatic comic takes viewers on an entertaining road trip around his hometown, visiting art studios, galleries and taquerias while exploring his extensive Chicano art collection. The film is a companion piece to the feature about Cheech in our June 2015 issue.

Knxwledge's Hud Dreams has been on heavy rotation in the Jux office since it dropped earlier this year. The Stones Throw artist has collaborated with Joey Bada$$, Blu, Iman Omari, and more recently on one of our favorite tracks off Kenrick Lamar's To Pimp a Butterfly, "Momma." Today Knxwledge released this welcomingly psychedelic video for the tracks "Flyinglizrds" and "Shuremng," animated by Ruff Mercy (who did this RTJ video) with footage from Ross Harris. Converse Blank Canvas: Jason Jägel

Former Juxtapoz cover artist Jason Jägel is the latest artist to participate in Converse's Blank Canvas project, featured on the back cover of our July 2015 issue. A longtime friend of the magazine, Jason helped interview Madlib and illustrate the cover for our August 2015 "Alter Ego" issue. More recently, he held a one day "Doomsday Show" at the Rappcats space in Los Angeles featuring paintings, prints and a limited run of individually hand-drawn CDs for Madlib's Mind Fusion African Earwax mix.

Artist Michael Paul Smith’s imaginative town – composed entirely of miniatures – delighted audiences worldwide when his photo series went viral. For the first time, the documentary Elgin Park dives into the life of this charming, reclusive artist to reveal the dark inspiration behind his work.  

The LB Project: A European Art Project through Skateboarding

The LB Project is a European art project through skateboarding. Sharing skills, ideas and a love for helping each other, the project was created to bring people together for a good cause. With help from Michael Sieben, Todd Bratrud, Jeremy Fish, Fos, Jeremyville, Kid Creature, French, Mike Kershnar, Chad Eaton, and BB Bastidas, each artist hand painted on blank skateboards to support Skateistan. Half of the boards were offered to Internet users via the-lbproject.com and the other half were donated.

Complex x Adobe Summer Vacation: Shawna X in New Mexico, Episode 2

As we noted last week on the site, our friends at Complex and Adobe have teamed up for a series of Summer Vacation episodes, traveling to some of the world's most beautiful and unique locations for some creative inspiration. They hit up White Sands National Monument in New Mexico, an abandoned brewery in Berlin, and the forests of northern Japan as part of a five-part series that captures visual artists "stepping out of their studios and into a new environment for new inspiration." Today, we follow Shawna X has she travels to White Sands National Monument in New Mexico.

KOOL A.D. recently debuted his new animated video for "Hickory" featuring Talib Kweli and Boots Riley, which was featured on his most recent project, Word O.K., that he released last year. The video was constructed by the Peruvian art collective, Youth Experimental Studio, and is just a small taste of their fantastic work, which you can check out more of on their site here.
