The new video for Just Blaze & Baauer's latest track "Higher" is one of the most beautifully shot we have seen in a while. However, this is not surprising considering renowned director Nabil is the man behind it. The video tells the the epic story of a group of Kalaripayattu warriors (martial artists) and a spirited young kid in Kerala, India, who leads his fellow child vigilantes to fight a drunk bully.

Werner Herzog "Hearsay of the Soul" @ The Getty Center, Los Angeles

Juxtapoz // Monday, August 12, 2013
Hearsay of the Soul is film director Werner Herzog's first video art installation. Projected on three adjacent walls and eighteen minutes in length, the five-channel video combines selected landscape etchings by Hercules Segers (Dutch, about 1589–about 1638) with the contemporary avant-garde music of composer/cellist Ernst Reijseger (Dutch, born 1954). The juxtaposition of Segers's lush prints of enigmatic vistas with Reijseger's expressive and experimental music results in a richly layered work that is both intimate and epic.

This feel-good video features lots of cute girls in various stages of undress, but instead of being a purely wanton piece of filmic eye-candy, the video retains a lighthearted bounce and sense of celebration, extolling the sheer fun of youthful sex and play.
