In the last several weeks Ai Weiwei has produced several new artworks, from a heavy metal music video, a large-scale diorama depicting his imprisonment, to an installation of 150 tons of straightened rebar taken from schools that had collapsed during the 2008 Sichuan earthquake. He also designed the cover for Time Magazine. At the 2013 Venice Art Biennale, Weiwei produced another installation, this once featuring 886 antique wooden stools!

Currently on display during the 2013 Venice Art Biennale, Ai Weiwei has created S.A.C.R.E.D. "a six-part work composed of six iron boxes depicting scenes from the chinese artist's 81-day incarceration back in 2011."

This was one of the more uncomfortable, but slightly intoxicating 9 minutes and 22 seconds we have spent watching a video art piece in quite some time. Martynka Wawrzyniak, who has been known to make these visual treatments, lets chocolate be poured on her without really moving for nearly 10 minutes.

Richard Phillips has a trend buidling. First a "Lindsay Lohan" short film,  now "Sasha Grey." This, along with Phillip’s first short film, “Lindsay Lohan,” will be included in "Commercial Break," presented by the Garage Center for Contemporary Culture, Venice, Italy, June 1 - 5, 2011, concurrent with the 54th international exhibition of the Venice Biennale.
