Just in time for... well just in time for the next pair of shoes you want, Vans has teamed up with NYC skate/fashion powerhouse Supreme on a special collection of Bruce Lee sneakers, with Supreme taking the Lee theme further with a full jacket, crewneck sweathshirt, long sleeve and short sleeve tee collection. The Vans collection will feature a "series of Sk8-Hi and Authentic silhouettes printed with Bruce Lee graphic." The collection will be released this Thursday, October 24.

A great story of fashion, heritage, and design coming together in one project, featuring a few friends in Copenhagen's Norse Projects and California's Vans. In a project paying homage to Danish design, Norse Projects has curated a 3 way collaborative project with Vault by Vans, Kvadrat and Poul Kjærholm entitled “stoflighed” (texture and form).

In the light of declining funding for art programs across schools in the US, the Vans Custom Culture competition inspires high schools. The annual event asks students to design their own vans. The winner is awarded $50,000 towards their high school art program! There are some pretty impressive custom designs! Voting is now open to select the winner and you can cast your's by choosing your favorite design from each region here!

Kate and Laura Mulleavy of Rodarte have collaborated with Vans as part of Vans Custom Culture competition. The competition inspires high schools in the light of declining funding for art programs across schools in the US. Last Saturday night, as Manhattan was in full swing of all things Armory Show, Dennis McNett and the Wolfbat team put together a full music, installation, performance, and fine art party at House of Vans in Brooklyn. Each season, NYC-based skate-aesthetic-fashion brand, Supreme teams up with California-based Vans for a special sneaker release. For the Spring/Summer 2013 collaboration, the two brands took the iconic album cover for New Order's 1983 benchmark, Power, Corruption & Lies, and applied it to the Chukka, The Era, and the SK8-Hi.

As we noted on the site yesterday, Curtis Kulig will be opening a pop-up shop in Los Angeles at Space 15 Twenty this weekend, February 1 and going through Feb 15. The "LOVE ME" Pop-Up and Polaroid Show is curated by Curtis Kulig and presented by Space 15 Twenty, Urban Outfitters and Vans. For the occasion, Juxtapoz has created a limited-editioned cover for the pop-up space featuring Kulig's "LOVE ME" staple. The cover was created specifically for the pop-up, and you can only get it at Space 15 Twenty.

As you will see in the coming days, we have a feature on Curtis Kulig in our upcoming issue. (And, a special, limited-edition, site-specific cover being released this weekend, more on that in the coming days). Okay, these points aside, Curtis Kulig, the man behind the "LOVE ME" moniker, is set to release a micro-collection with Vans for the Spring 2013 season. The Classic Authentic, the Checkerboard Slip-On, and the women's SK8-Hi Slim are all part of the collection.
