Jenny G is a Vancouver based artist. She makes these very colorful, playful paintings that nod to some darker issues. In a recent installation, she scrawled across one of the walls, "Our budget will work if we sleep through the entire weekend without eating anything." Maybe we should try that.

Well, this took us a few minutes to really take in Hayden Wood's photography series, but yes, these are real models under the guise of Living Dolls. The Vancouver-based Wood shoots and retouches each photo in the series. Creepy work to say the least.

Maybe we are insensitive to real burning buildings, but this installation from Montreal-based artist Isabelle Hayeur is very interesting and one of the better pieces of art we have seen this weekend.
