Nuria Riaza's blue ballpoint drawings are meticulous, in every sense of the word. Not only are they exquisitely rendered with detailed, fine linework, but each piece displays the artist's very careful deliberation and composition (her grids of collected knick-knacks are a neat freak's dream). Riaza graduated with a degree in Fine Arts from the Universidad Politécnica in Valencia.

Escif’s newest mural in Valencia, Spain pays homage to the recent event of Spain's King, Juan Carlos falling flat on his face and to the French Noveau Relisme artist, Yves Klein. Escif draws a humorous correlation to Klein’s famous piece “Leaping into the Void” and the photo of Carlos falling to the floor.

Over the last couple day many student protesters were violently repressed by police in Escif’s hometown of Valencia, Spain. Students were protesting an announcement made by the President of the region that spoke of large education cuts. Escif takes the not so subtle approach in this piece titled “Education for Citzenship.”

Another wonderful wall from Argentinean-born, Spain-based muralist, Hyuro, painted on the streets of her hometown in Valencia. We can't get enough of Hyuro's street work, always elegantly done.

As we continue our preparation for FAME Festival to see some of Blu's new walls, we noticed on his site that the Italian artist posted some new images of work he did in Valencia, Spain this summer. And Blu added a little extra touch to the wall's mouth.

We spent significant time with Escif here in California over the past month, and we knew when he returned to Valencia, Spain, he had a wall to work on. That wall happened to be with Blu, with the Italian muralist making the rounds throughout Europe this summer.
