Turkey-based illustrator Murat Palta has created a good game for you (although we have ruined it by giving you captions). Citing the influence and style of Ottoman era miniature paintings, the artist has created a series of works that take our favorite films of Western cinema and given them that classic look. Kind of in a Wes Anderson Criterion Collection style....

Cem Dinlenmi? was born in ?stanbul, Turkey in 1985. His father is a painter and graphic designer, so he was eager to draw at an early age. Cem spent his childhood playing with lego bricks and drawing pirates, knights and such kind of battling and fighting figures, he now lives in ?stanbul and spends his time working, wandering around and watering flowers when he isn't creating these graphic, sometimes political intricate illustrations.

We don't know about you, but we love to read and sometimes find it hard to get the time or motivation to sit with a good book (Murakami's 1Q84 has been a project). Turkish designer Mebrure Oral is helping motivate us with the Target Bookshelf.
