Let's face it. Chances are you didin't make it to Tokyo for the opening of KAWS' new exhibition, Ohhh..., at Murakami's Kaikai Kiki space. It opened tonight, but in Tokyo time, that means its already open. So, if you didn't make it, we have a little into some of the works that are on exhibit, and as you can see, they are some of the cleanest, bold acrylic works you will ever see.

Just like we have seen in the past few bits of KAWS news, whether at a Thanksgiving Parade or a gigantic companion piece outside his exhibition at Galerie Perrotin in Paris, this will have a highlight.

Photographer Jesse Frohman will be exhibiting his portraits of Kurt Cobain at Opening Ceremony Tokyo in March. The portraits were shot during Nirvana's '93 In Utero tour. A period of deep depression for Kurt, the portraits were some of the last taken before his death.
