We like Todd James. He has been on the cover of Juxtapoz twice now, and continues to make fantastic works. We like Barry McGee, too. He too, has been a cover artist and continues to be one of the most recongnizable and successful artists to balance graffiti energy and fine art aesthetics into one beautiful mix. They are both showing new works in FUD, opening at V1 Gallery in Copenhagen this weekend. It is McGee and James' second double exhibition at the space.

No secret here that Juxtapoz loves the work of Todd "REAS" James. He has been on the cover 2x, been covered in various stages of his career, and love seeing his work evolve with each show. On May 1st, James will open "Fantasy Island" at Lazarides in London in their Rathbone space. From the gallery, "The vivid body of hyper-coloured works extends the artist's exploration into current socio-political affairs, continuing to stretch the boundary between the obscene and the humorous." We agree.

Two-time Juxtapoz cover artist and longtime favorite of the staff, Todd "REAS" James is opening a new solo show, Pump Pump, at the stellar Alice Gallery in Brussels, Belgium this week. From his amazing satirical military works, the the pirates, to his new series of big busted women and cartoonish still lifes, he continues to make some of the most strong work that we get to cover.

Todd "REAS" James is a 2x Juxtapoz cover artist, with the NYC artist most recently on the cover in December 2013. From his Pirate series, to MASH-style pin-ups, and his career in graffiti and tv shows like Crank Yankers, James is one of the true representatives of what this magazine stands for. So it's pretty cool to us that we get to be the exclusive premiere of James's music video work for U2's new track, "The Troubles." Big band, big artist.

Galleria Patricia Armocida is proud to present Secret Garden, the first solo exhibition in Italy by Todd James that opened on Tuesday May 13, 2014 and will run through August 1st. For this occasion, the artist created seven large-scale acrylic on canvas paintings and eight medium and small-scale gouache on paper paintings. For his first Italian solo exhibition, James toes the thin line between erotic and ironic, capturing his Junoesque and voluptuous women during their private, secret moments taking place behind closed doors.
