Contributing writer and editor for Juxtapoz, Hannah Stouffer, recently sent over the completed video time-lapse from her 'E.P.S.T.' (Existence, Possibility, Space and Time) installation at The Standard in downtown Los Angeles, CA, that she completed in June of this year. The wall is running until the end of the month, so if you havn't had the chance to check it out, now is your chance to do so- or watch the exclusive video with us here!

Living in San Francisco, spending summers enclosed by a thick layer of fog, many of us in the Juxtapoz office have a love/hate relationship with nature's blanket. But there is such a beauty to the way fog moves through the Golden Gate and covers the surrounding hills and City, and this timelapse really does capture the romance of fog.

This past December 2012, we featured the works of Nicola Verlato in our print magazine. Because he was so articulate and detailed in his expression, we asked him to interview fellow Italian artist Fulvio di Piazza for our April 2013 issue. Because he was so good at that, when Verlato sent us a video of his process for creating the magnificent painting, Burzum, we want to show people how a painter really gets down.

This 75-minute time lapse video (shortened down to 10 minutes) shows artist and illustrator Kim Jung Gi drawing a super complex street scene out of his head with no preliminary sketches or planning. The stream-of-consciousness marker drawing covers two walls. It includes incredibly rendered flying elephants, motorcycles, and an assortment of farm animals, all drawn from interesting angles at a drawing show in China.

Airports are busy, but rarely do we get an idea of just how many flights come in and out of a given airport over a short period of time. Cy Kuckenbaker captured 5 hours of air landings at San Diego airport, and condensed it into just a short 25 seconds. The flights took place between 10:30am and 3pm.

Marc Scheff is an illustrator with a degree in Computer Science and a background working in the gaming industry. His digital paintings behold a rough, gestural touch that lend them a certain hand-made quality. Here's a great time-lapse video of his portrait of R.E.M. frontman Michael Stipe that offers some insight into Scheff's artistic process.

The genre, style, and concept that is the timelapse video is growing up before our very eyes, and becoming an experimental art form in ways that we are finding more and more intriguing everyday. Take this brilliant timelapse by Maisie Broadhead, in collaboration with Jack Cole, where we watch a unique recreation of a 1844 photographic print by Hill and Adamson.

Maybe you have been to Yosemite and took a few photos and shot a little home video, but you probably have never seen Yosemite like this on a computer screen. This is a beautifully shot short by Project Yosemite (Sheldon Neill and Colin Delehanty), taking you through one of the most amazing natural landscapes in the world.

Some people like to show timelapse videos of beautiful murals, graffiti pieces, or paintings being made. We at Juxtapoz found this timelapse video of a pipe plant being painted in Russia to be very interesting, so much so we think you will like it, too.
