On this International Picnic Day (woohoo) we bring you Till Rabus' homage to Salvador Dali, Surrealist Camping Lunch. It's not the first time we have posted the Swiss artists work, often balancing somewhere between myth and surrealism, he combines the strange with the ordinary!

From orgiastic tangles of limbs to anthropomorphic still lives, Till Rabus' hyperrealistic paintings are uncanny yet titillating. Rabus graduated from the Ecole Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de La Chaux-de-Fonds. He lives and works between Neuchâtel and Paris.

Even as Swiss artist Till Rabus' works are painted in an almost photo-realist style, his subject matter balances between myth and surrealism. He combines strange still lives with ordinary, discarded and even sometimes anthropomorphized objects. His latest work explores the human figure with tangled body parts!

This past weekend at Lazarides Gallery in London, Swiss-born, Paris-based hyper-realist painter, Till Rabus opened a new body of work, Forms of Everyday. Even as the works are painted in an almost photo-realist style, the subject matter balances between myth and surrealism.
